Which one for a tool shop

  • Holders, inserts and jigs in PLA and PETG: the P2S is plenty.
  • Tough parts (ASA outdoors, nylon, carbon-fill): the X2D's heated chamber and 300 C nozzle are the reason to step up. We run an X2D in our shop; our printed battery and meter holders came off it.
  • Multi-color signs and lots of material swaps: the H2C wastes far less filament on color changes.
